Sausage Roll Baking Tips

Product Thawing

  • Place Sausage Rolls onto a baking tray (lined with silicone or baking paper) and thaw to room temperature - approximately 60 minutes. 
    • Ensuring the Sausage Rolls are fully thawed will prevent steaming when baking.

Baking

  • Place thawed Sausage Rolls into pre-heated 200-210°C oven and bake for approximately 18-20 minutes. 
  • Make sure your oven steam vent is 100% open.

Serving Ideas

  • Cut Sausage Rolls while semi-frozen into finger food size before baking and serve at functions.
  • Score Sausage Rolls lengthways once thawed and fill with bresaola and cheese for a different flavour.
  • For an alternative look, brush with egg wash and add sesame seeds or seasonings/ herbs.
