Tropical Fruit Tart
Ingredients
Custard diplomat
- 200g instant custard
- 100g whipped cream
Fruit salad
- 4 strawberries
- 1 mango
- 1 passionfruit
- 9 blueberries
- 9 raspberries
- 6 blackberries
Method
- Pre-heat fan forced oven to 160°C.
- Place the Butter Shortbread Shells on a baking tray to thaw to room temperature - approximately 30 minutes.
- Place thawed Butter Shortbread Shells into pre-heated 160°C oven and bake for approximately 12-16 minutes, then set aside to cool.
- Prepare instant custard then fold in whipped cream until smooth.
- Pipe custard diplomat into pre-baked Butter Shortbread Shells to ¾ fill.
- Arrange fresh fruit on top.
- Glaze with clear gel, then place in the fridge/ cold room to set.
